Live in-person course – Join our intensive 14-day Live (In-person) course held in Levenshulme, Manchester, UK, for  personalized instruction. You will engage directly with our expert instructors and peers, fostering collaboration and hands-on learning.

Live in-person course class timings – 9:00 AM till 7.00 PM UK time. 
Break times: Lunch break – One hour at about 1.30 PM.
Coffee break – 20 minutes at about 11.30 AM and 4.30 PM.

Live online course –Live online course is the same in-person course which is projected online at real time. So the course dates for the in-person and Live online course will be the same. Attend our dynamic 14-day Live Online course from anywhere in the world, featuring interactive sessions and real-time guidance from expert instructors. We use zoom as the online platform. If you miss any class you can catch up in the next course.

During the live online course, access the same high-quality education virtually, ensuring continuity and flexibility in your preparation. Experience the best of both worlds with our hybrid course format, designed to maximize your success in the UKMLA 2 exam.

The online instructions will be emailed to you the day before the course start-date. The notes will be emailed to you every day in the morning.

Recorded video course –Opt for our Recorded Video course, offering flexibility to watch and review course materials at your own pace, any day, anytime, anywhere.

What is included in recorded video course: –

• About 150 hours of videos.
• These are recorded videos of the previously held live course which can be watched any day anytime, anywhere.
• This is suitable for those who cannot attend the In-person course or Live online course.
•  These videos are about 150 hours in total. Videos are of short duration varying from 10 minutes to about 2 hours duration.
• Course validity is for one year from the time you are given access to the videos.
• You are allowed to watch the video only twice. However, you can rewind and watch the videos as many times as you wish.

No matter which option you choose, rest assured you’ll receive comprehensive training to excel in your UKMLA 2 exam.

Course dates for Manchester:

PLAB/UKMLA – 2 course dates for 2024 -25 – at Manchester, UK centre (Course dates are the same for Live (In-person) and Live online courses).

Recorded video course can be taken any day, anytime.

Group discount is available only for the full package which is a £100.00 discount for each doctor if you come in a group of 5 doctors. So the course fee for each doctor after group discount will be £300.00 (£150.00 to be paid to UAE account and £150.00 to be paid to UK account)

Partial Packages are as follows:

• Only ‘Live Online course + Video course + Course materials (soft copy only)’ without In-person course, Mock tests and Practice at the centre will be £250.00 (To be paid to UAE account only)
• Only Mannequin In-Person class + Mannequin station notes (soft copy only) without practice at the centre will be £50.00 (to be paid to UK account only)
• Only SimMan In-Person class + SimMan station notes (soft copy) + Supervised manikin session (4hrs practice on SimMan with a tutor) without practice at the centre will be £50.00 (to be paid to the UK account only)
• Only Recorded videos (About 70% of the topics has videos) + Course materials (soft copy only) without In-person course, Live-Online course, Mock tests and Practice at the centre will be £150.00 (to be paid to UAE account only)
• Only mock test (15 or 16 stations): Each mock tests fee will be £45.00 (to be paid to UK account only). You can take as many number of mock tests you wish.
• Only practice at the centre (Up to 2 weeks) will be £50.00 (to be paid to UK account only)
• Hard copy of the notes of 14 days course will be £30.00 (to be paid to UK account only)

You can attend the Live in-person  course 2 times and live online course 2 times within a year from the first time you attend the course including your first attempt. 

If you wish to retake the online or live course after one year you will have to pay the full course fee.

Advise on when to do the course:

We advise everyone to attend the live course or online course at least 12 to 14 weeks prior to the exam so that you will have enough time to revise and practice everything after the course.

If you cannot come to UK about 12 to 14 weeks before your exam to attend the live course, you can attend the live online course first from your home country about 12 to 14 weeks before your exam and come to UK about 4 weeks before your exam and re-attend the live class for free of charge if you wish and also practice in our centre in Manchester.

Reading materials.

We will email you the course materials when you book the course with us after receiving the course fee. You can take a print out of these materials.

We advise you to read the materials before you attend the course.

Manikin practice:

We have all the manikins including SimMan for you to practice in our centre. We are open all 7 days of the week. You can practice on the manikins any day and anytime between 9:00 AM till 7:00 PM as you wish. There is no time restriction on manikin practice.

We advise you to come to our Manchester centre at least 4 to 6 weeks before your exam to practice on the manikins and to do group practice for other stations like examinations and history and counselling.

We have a very large building for you to practice. You will never feel overcrowded.

Mock tests:

This will be held at our Manchester centre.

We conduct mock tests simulating the real exam. We offer 2 mock tests of 15 or 16 stations free with the course fee.

We conduct 3 to 4 days of mock tests every week.  We will email you the mock test days about 2 weeks prior to your exam date and you need to choose the 2 days when you wish to take the mock tests. We advise you to take the mock tests about 10 days near to your exam. While booking the mock tests we advise you to keep one or two days of gap between each mock test.

Mock tests will be conducted similar to the GMC exam where the candidates will be rotating in different stations. There will be mock test examiners (Live in-person or online) to assess your performance.

Mock tests usually start by about 9.30 AM and finish by about 7.30 PM. Mock tests will be conducted in different batches each day. There will be three batches per day. Duration of each batch will be about two and a half hours.

You will be given one and half minutes to read the question and eight minutes to perform the task similar to the GMC exam. We will email the time of your mock test one day before your mock test.

The 2 mock tests have to be taken for the first attempt of the GMC exam. Mock tests cannot be carried forward for the subsequent attempts of the GMC exam.  If you wish to retake the mock tests for the subsequent attempts of the exam you will have to pay for them.

Mock test feedback:

There will be feedback after the mock test by the mock test examiners.

Online mock test:

We can conduct mock tests online for those doctors who cannot attend the mock test in our centre.

We will keep 16 stations in the mock test. Candidates will take the mock test at their own home and the mock test examiner will also be at their home. Mock test will be for two and a half hours. There will be feedback by the examiners after the mock test.

Special offer:

You can repeat the online or in-person course again for free within one year from the first time you attend the course.

Group discount: Terms and conditions

We offer group discounts only to the full package.

• We offer a group discount of £100.00 for each candidate if you come in a group of 5 doctors.
• Doctors in the group can take the course on different dates. However, anyone in the group can start the course only after we receive the payment from all the 5 members of the group. There is no refund of the course fee for any reason because you are claiming the group discount.
• You should email us the names of 5 doctors at least 3 days before the course start date and the same doctors should be attending the course (that means you cannot change the member of the group within the last 3 days before the course start date).

Course fee should be paid before the course start date via bank transfer.

There is no refund for the course or the mock test fee once paid. You can prepone or postpone the course date.

UAE company:

We have an association with a company in the UAE. All our courses will be managed from the UAE company. So part of the course fee has to be paid to UAE company. There is a collaboration with the UAE company and Dr Swamy PLAB courses and recruitment Ltd Manchester UK.

You can pay the full course fee to the UK bank account if you are paying from the UK bank. If you are paying from outside the UK, you need to part of the course fee to UK bank and part of the fee to the UAE bank in UAE Dirhams.
